Oh my goodness! I have so much to tell you today...so much! First of all, it's Saturday and that means that it's time for another awesome Super Saturday Sale at SNP! Here's what you'll find from me this week...
Here's what the other designers will have as well...lots of good stuff this week!
Don't forget that I've got these three kits on sale as well this weekend...
Scraps N' Pieces (the designers) has an awesome new release today that I know for a fact I'll be using over and over and over again! I literally whipped out 4 layouts and a freebie with this kit Thursday night in a matter of hours. And if I hadn't waited until the last minute to get them made and turned in, I probably could have made at least 4 more! I probably will, in fact! It's called You Play Like A Girl and it's softball awesomeness in a kit! It's 50% off through the 22nd and if you pick it up by then, you'll also get a great set of embossed papers for free!
Here are the 4 layouts I created with it so far...
This first one was made for the Scraplift/Smashup Challenge (so fun!).
And then I couldn't resist playing along with the Font/Alpha Challenge either and made this layout.
Of course, once I got started with the challenges, I just couldn't stop and tackled the Weekly Challenge (Go do it! Today is the last day and it's so cool!) with this layout.
And just to even it out, I also did the Template Challenge and created this layout!
Check out the layouts the rest of the CT made. I'm sure you'll agree...it's a must have!
I also made you a little freebie with this kit! Simply click on the preview to download.
Some of my fellow CT members made freebies as well and if you stop by Lori's blog on Monday, you'll be able to grab all of the links!
Since it's the 15th of the month, it's also time for the SNP blog train to depart!
I promised you another story so another story you shall get. This kit has been poking at me for weeks. I saw his true colors and I was desperately in love instantly. But he was a rebel. He wanted nothing to do with my pretty flowers and my glitter obsession. He wanted me to come into his world without any of the pretty things I love in my world. He wanted me to give up glitz and glam for graffiti and metal and distressed cardboard. So I pushed him aside and thought to myself, maybe if I have time, I'll come back to him and at least explore the streets a little. Maybe. Maybe I'll just make up an alpha so I can write him a letter and tell him why we could never be together. His world was so full of rough and tumble and I, in my glitter crown, was just not that kind of girl. But he came to me late one evening after Chaos had moved into her new house and he whispered in my ear, "Baby, just Roll With It." and well, who could resist a rebel whispering that in her ear? I certainly could not! So I strolled the streets with him and together we lugged back some great signs and we captured the grunge and graffiti of it all. He thankfully relented a little and allowed me just the slightest touch of the darkest glitter and as I looked at the gears he'd collected, they felt almost flowerish to me and suddenly I was enamored. I couldn't put him back on the shelf. I had to build him a home. I had to decorate his papers with grit and grunge and the perfect patches of paint. I creased them and sanded them and soon he felt right at home. We got busy decorating his new place with frames and paint and as his words kept coming back to me, I added more circles and stars and the flourishes bring it all to life somehow! We worked together all through the night as he continued to whisper, then sing and finally shout, "ROLL WITH IT!" I introduced him to my girlfriends and they welcomed him into their world and were inspired to create with him as well. I watched in delight as they were enveloped in his world and fell in love with him like I had.
But alas, after spending only a week hanging out with us, his rebellious side came out and he told me he could never be a one woman man. He had to roll on and explore the world and all of the scrappers it had to offer. I knew it was coming. I had seen him longingly looking at the train as it pulled up to the station. And so I said, "Baby, it's okay, just roll with it." and sent him on his way.
You can take him home with you by clicking on the 5 links below but be forewarned, he's a rebel and he'll take you places you never knew you could go and soon you'll be exploring the streets with him and then one day when you're just in the right amount of love with him, he'll roll on. Because that's what rebels do.
Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5
I hear that there are boys like him all over the world and if you take the time to stop and look around at every station, you just might find a rebel you can love forever. Or you might just find that putting them all in a room together would be one great party! So roll on, my friend, and pick up what you need to heal the pain of the heartache you're sure to have when you fall in love with a rebel.
Simply click on each preview to travel to their station and see if they've got what you need.
Have a great day!

Wendy,
LOVED, LOVED the story! And, cannot say enough thanks for your beautiful kit - it is perfect for my Tyler (who is 12 and 11/12s!)
I refuse to buy kits that are supposed to be "boy-themed" but then have some flowers thrown in as elements.
I will use this one to pieces, and will then be back for more! I love your blue jean one. Thanks for "getting" boys!

Thanks so much for the story and the kit. Two-thirds of my grandkids are boys, so I am always looking for cool boy kits. My daughters say I put too many butterflies and flowers on the boy layouts so I am trying to do better. Thanks again.
