My April CTMH Newsletter

I'll bet some of you are wondering what all of this digital scrapbooking means for my CTMH business.  I'll be honest.  I've really been trying to decide whether to keep running my CTMH business for quite a while.  Don't get me wrong.  I still think CTMH is the best home sales company out there.  I love the product and I love the inspiration I get from the company.  I have personally met Jeanette Lynton (the founder) and I have to say that she truly oozes love for her company and the consultants who represent it.  She is so sincere in her conversations and such a beautiful soul.  She truly inspires.

So why have I been considering giving up my business?  Time, family, and now digi scrapping.  These things all keep me so busy and I often wonder if I have the time to put into my business that I use to.  I want to continue to bring you, my customers, the quality you deserve because if I can't do that, I shouldn't be representing CTMH anyway. 

I have truly fallen in love with digi scrapping and have pretty much stopped creating traditional pages with my supplies.  I have found that my stamps are collecting dust and this is no good!  LOL!  They need love!  So I have committed myself to putting those stamps back to good use!  (Sydney...you can breathe now)

So don't worry about losing your CTMH Consultant...I'm not going anywhere!  In fact, I'm working on some new fun things for us to do.  So stay tuned and understand that I'm still here though my traditional pages will be less and my digi pages will be more prominent in my creations (as if that wasn't obvious already).

March Newsletter - Do Over

I have had a few people say they couldn't open the first newsletter so I'm going to give it a go again and hopefully you'll be able to open it this time.  Remember that it is a zipped file so you'll need to extract the files to read them.  Thanks and so sorry for messing it up the first time!

Well, it's a few days late but it's because I was waiting for some confirmations about a certain little old building that we like to live in for 4 days...LOL!  You got it!  We're having a crop!  So download the newsletter and check it out, mark your calendars and let's get ready for some fun!

No Class Tonight

I just wanted to let you local ladies know that there will not be a scrap class tonight.  I have called or emailed everyone but thought I should post it here too in case someone else was planning to come.

The good news is that I can still wake up 100% in the middle of the night when a child starts throwing up right next to me.  The bad news is that it's Izzy and she has been throwing up all day today as well.  Since Andy has to work nights tonight I need to be able to stay in the house with Izzy so I can clean up her messes.  She hasn't quite perfected getting everything in her puke bowl yet.

We will use this week's layout for next week's class so you can just keep your supplies ready and we'll use them next week.  Thank you so much for understanding. 

Who's Up For A Little Hankey Pankey (& Thursday's Class Layout)?!

When Teri emailed me and asked if I wanted to play with her and Stacey Crossley's new collab kit called Hankey Pankey...you can imagine how my smart alec mind was working!  LOL!  Of course I did!  So she sent me the links and I downloaded and then I sat and drooled for a while.  This kit is right up my alley!  I love the colors and I love the elements.  I would decorate my house and my craft house in these colors if I could talk Andy into it!

This is just one of the layouts I've created with this kit so far (A girl must keep some secrets when it comes to Hankey Pankey!). 

This is also our layout for this Thursday's Scrap Class!  So look closely and I'll give you a supply list at the end of this post. 

I told you these colors were just my kinda thing!  I LOVE them!

Now for you ladies that are coming to my class on Thursday, you'll need to bring the following:

 2 sheets of Pattern Paper

5 to 6 sheets of Cardstock depending on if you would like the bottom strip on page one to be the same color as the mat on the page (5 sheets) or if you'd like that mat to be the same color as the rest of the mats (6 sheets)

You'll want 3 different CS colors (if you're going the 6 sheet direction, please bring 2 sheets of the color you'd like to mat your photos with and then 1 sheet each of 2 other colors) plus 2 sheets for your backing (we will cover it completely so it doesn't need to be pretty or match.).

WOW!  I think that's the most difficult to understand supply sheet ever!  You can call me if it doesn't make sense.  My head is pounding and I can't for the life of me think of how to word that to make it make sense.  So sorry. 

Or if you're really brave you can buy this digi kit and bring your laptop!

ps.  did you notice that I "inked" the edges of this page?  So stinkin' happy I learned that by accident!  Now I can ink away just like using ink pads...only I won't have inky fingers so no one will know I spent the day scrapping.  LOL!  (Keeli, I know you're dying to know that one, aren't you?!)

Ok...enough of my rambling...go get the kit already!
