A quote, a layout and a freebie

Last night, my friend's daughter was married and the wedding was beautiful.  I got to spend the evening with two of my favorite friends just taking pictures and enjoying every moment of it.  It was so good to just be around them...it's been a busy summer and I haven't taken the time to really spend with them that I would like to.  I just truly love these two ladies and cherish their friendship.

I found this quote today and wanted to share it with you as well.  I really think there's a lot of truth to this.  It comes from a book called Return To Love by Marianne Williamson.  I've not read the book but I think I'll have to look for it soon.  I just really think this quote is something to ponder...

I also have a layout to share with you.  I have this thing with finding hearts in nature.  I think it came from my mom but to be honest, I am not sure.  I am constantly looking for heart shaped rocks, leaves, etc.  Well...this time I found a heart in a tree and had to snap a pic of it.

Thursday's Thought

I decided I want to capture all of the quotes and things like that in some kind of way so I decided to make up these 4x6 cards full of my favorites.  Each Thursday I plan to share a new one with you.  I'm not sure what I'll do with the cards yet but since I only have one made I'm not going to worry about that just yet.

My thought for today came from the signature line in someone's email.  I really liked it so I thought I'd share it here.

Life is like that...

I apologize for the lack of posting the past few days.  School starts tomorrow so we've been busy preparing for it.  We went out of town to shop for supplies and clothing.  We cut, split and stacked 3 cords of wood.  We were blessed to have a night with some old friends around the table.  We have gone through all 3 girls clothes and reduced them to a manageable load.  I've picked up my soccer supplies as the season starts now (not sure if I'm excited or not this year...seems like there just is not enough time!).  I've cleaned the house...although after going through everyone's clothes it needs another good cleaning. 

I have not even started to create anything...I must do something soon though...Andy's bday is Thursday and I need to make up some soccer stuff for my team.
